    Excellent bag!

The Bellroy transit workpack has many easily accessible pockets in well thought out places. The clam-shell opening is a game changer and makes it easy to dig for items in the bottom of the bag. The materials and construction of the bag feel premium. My only complaint are the pockets for the water bottles. They comfortably fit a water bottle with a diameter of 7cm and can squeeze one with 8.5cm diameter. A 1L nalgene won’t fit, but there’s plenty of room in the main compactor that!

    Great Everyday Bag for Work

I bought this bag to replace a cloth knapsack with basically no internal organization or ability to keep my things dry.

I think this backpack is great, I was looking at models from Aer or Black Ember but the duties didn't make it worthwhile. I ordered this bag to pick up from the store a little bit before it opened and it was fulfilled later that morning. Customer service was great, I walked in and got my bag just like that.

In terms of the bag, the material feels very much like ripstop but isn't Gorp-Core or techy in any meaningful way (this is a pro for me as I work in an office). I bring my laptop and shoes with my every day and this easily handles both those plus all my essential carries. Haven't been rained on yet but between the outer material and the PU coated zippers I'm sure it'll do just fine. Besides, a travel umbrella fits perfectly and discreetly inside either of the external side pockets.

Would recommend this bag for sure.

    Great bag!

This backpack has been fantastic for an everyday work commute bag. The 20L is a perfect size for my laptop, laptop accessories, and lunch. It’s sits higher on my back which is way more comfortable and it was amazing in the rain. No water got through even though I forgot my umbrella. I highly recommend this bag.

    Great Professional Backpack

I’ve been using this backpack daily for about 2 weeks now to carry my stuff to and from work. I’ve found that it fits well—and like the clips to hold down excessive straps on the shoulders—and is snug to my back. My normal carry is a 13” laptop, iPad, lunch, water bottle, keys, miscellaneous small electronics, books or shoes, and sometimes a spare jacket. All fits easily and comfortably in the bag without it appearing stretched or overloaded.

During my time with the bag I’ve worn it through rain. The zippers require a bit more force to pull than those on other backpacks, but the same zippers (and material used in the backpack) means that water just flows off the bag. All of which is to say that my electronics and other valuables haven’t ever gotten wet.

The bag also stands on its own pretty well, so long as it’s not overly weighted in one direction or another. The pen loops in the front compartment are helpful and not something I realised was included in the bag when I bought it.

The downsides to the bag are the front pouch—it’s not the most convenient for storing things, though I do appreciate the small ‘lip’ that’s used to keep some items from moving around—and the key elastic being in one of the water bottle pouches. Also, there isn’t a luggage pass through so if you wanted to put this on your luggage while moving through an airport you’re going to be out of luck. Lastly, getting a water bottle into the hidden side-holders can sometimes be a bit of a pain (bad) but it has the effect of both keeping liquid away from stuff on the bag’s internal compartment (good!) and preserving the look of the bag (also good!).

Finally, it’s worth noting that the shipping was incredibly fast from Te Koop and the engagement from staff has, similarly, been excellent. I’m very happy to have purchased my bag from them. If you’re an office worker, or someone looking for a sleek and easy-to-pack backpack, then I’d recommend this for you.
