I wish I could give this 4.5 stars - it's an excellent backpack with just one flaw. Very sturdy construction, high quality finishings - zippers run very smoothly - and all of the inside pockets I've ever wanted to keep things organized and easy to find. It's also the most comfortable backpack to wear that I've ever had. My one issue is the pockets on either side of the exterior - the ones you'd want to use for a water bottle. These are small and have no give: when the backpack is full you cannot get anything in them, even an umbrella, and even if the backpack is empty they aren't large enough for anything but the tiniest water bottles. If they'd been elasticized or made of a stretchy mesh that would have done the trick, but as is they aren't really usable. It's a relatively small quibble - I'm using the bag every day - and hopefully one they'll address in an updated design at some point.
